Hermana Warner has arrived!!

Dear Warner Family,
We had the great pleasure of welcoming your daughter to the Spain Madrid Mission. We spent the day together at the mission home where she received training and orientation on her missionary assignment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and felt a wonderful spirit present. We appreciate all that you have done to prepare your daughter to serve the Lord and for the sacrifice you are making in giving her to the Lord for a time.
We thought you might enjoy some pictures we took at the mission home.
May the Lord bless you and your family in all of your endeavors.

Sincerely,
President and Hermana Pack

Last week at the CCM!

Yep time flies when you are having a good time!!! My time here at the CCM has been so fantastic and I´m so grateful for all the people I´ve met, lessons I´ve learned, and for the better understanding I have of Christ and His atonement.

So this last Sunday we spoke on No Regrets, we all wrote a talk and I wrote mine specifically on loving other´s one by one and serving others one by one, that's how Christ does it so that's how we´ve got to do it too. I also wrote about obedience, if we are obedient the Lord will bless us and we will be able to be our best selves, I have a testimony of that, you can never bee too obedient.

Every Saturday is Park day, I¨ve mentioned this before, but this park day was different, this time I got to be with my awesome full time CCM companion Hna Sperry! I love her so much and she inspires me to be better every day, i really don´t deserve her, truly blessed. anyway, Saturday was SUPER rainy so logically we just went contacting on the metro for 2-3 hours, it was incredible! the first person we met had a music book in her hand, apparently she was apart of some orchestra, any way long story short we invited her to share some of her music with us, she declined and I was like, well you know what, we can sing to you instead! so that´s just what we did, luckily not by coincidence, we both had our mini hymn books in Spanish, we sang to her and everyone just looked at us, people took out their ear buds and we were able to feel the spirit really strong, it was as if angels were singing with us, the metro was loud but there were at least 30 people on each side of us who heard us and listened. through our singing we were able to talk to many people who were sincerely interested in learning more, I´m so grateful for hymns! they always bring the spirit and make me feel at peace. I´m grateful I was able to share that spirit with others on the metro with my companion and I´m grateful for the years of choir I had so I could keep on pitch haha thanks mom.

One thing I learned this week, ¨The gospel isn´t about knowing, it´s about becoming¨"

So one thing I´m also super grateful for here at the CCM is the diversity, we have people here from Spain, Italy, Russia, New Zealand and all over north and south america! People here are learning Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. and with a CCM with less than 70 people that´s pretty diverse. I love talking with my new Italian, Brazilian and Russian friends! They help me feel the spirit and I have witnessed first hand the gift of tongues, it is amazing how the Lord can help us to communicate even though none of us know the same language it is wonderful! I am going to get pictures with all of them this week and send them out so you can meet them all too! My last day here is the 26th, so yay!! crazy and sad and happy!

I get to talk with my mission Pres Pack on Sunday and I am so excited! I have had such an amazing experience here with President Packer and his wife and I´m excited to meet my mission prez. I am also super excited to meet my investigators and pray for them! well I need to go eat lunch!! here´s some pictures!

Oh also read Alma 5 it will change your life. the church is verdad y I know it. Loves and besos!!

Adventures in five mins

Yep I´ve been spending too much time writing fam and friends I haven´t even started writing this until I only have like five mins. Four now. Anyway this week was so great!! but again so fast!
for P-day we went to this super cute little village city place, it has one of the oldest universities in Spain there, and there was also the Don Quixote Museum. It was so fun to just walk around in the sun and to look at the art in the architecture and in the museum. I´m excited for when I can understand Spanish enough to read the description so the places we visit will be more significant to me. but yeah! It was still super fun!

Park day was one of the best this week, My companion was sister Campbell, she´s the one from Texas and I blame her for all the y'alls in my last email. sorry about that

So every week we get to prepare a talk for Sacrament Meeting in our mission language, this last week we talked about service and diligence. I´m so grateful for Christs example who teaches me how to serve and love others more fully!
Sorry, one of the elders distracted me with a joke so I didn't use my time so efficiently... oops well I guess I´ll send you some pictures!!

Prado, General Conference and life is good!

Hello everybody! How Ya'll doing!?
What a week! Honestly every day gets more and more blurry but still all so good, maybe it feels like when the people with Moses had mana like every day and then they were like eh mana, well it won´t get like that but kinda my brain´s been turned to mush. we actually have this fried... stuff... it looks like a pizza pocket but tastes like baby food... fried... we are all convinced it is all the mush that is left over from the past missionary´s brains  so we don´t eat it but yeah, sorry babies that you have to eat that nasty stuff.

So for P day last week we got to go to the PRADO! Whoot whoot! It was so so so so so so great! The whole time I was just wishing Amanda P. was there with me so she could tell me all about all the paintings and the history of it all, it was amazing! I will definitely have to go again!! Love. My favorite pieces were the sketches and paintings from Anton Rafael Meng! It was so choice to see the rough drafts of what would be the master pieces on the walls and ceilings of the Cathedrals. There was another awesome sculptor/carver that I absolutely adored, he made pieces that wherever you look at whatever angle, the composition is on point and marvelous, I don´t remember the name but I wrote down a few that I liked so I´ll look it up later, I loved his sculptures so much and I hope that by the time I´m done with my mish I can look back at any angle or position and just love and appreciate the composition of it.maybe it was Camillo Torreggiani? I can´t look it up so I don´t know but maybe ya'll know what I´m talking about. I bought a sketch book there which is super nice because every Pday I get so art hungry and want to draw so YAY that I get to feed my art cravings! If I draw something nice I might let ya'll see it... maybe.. probably. yeah art is so good.

I have no idea where all this ya'll is coming from but there ya'll go! haha maybe it was because of that cute sister, Sister Neill F Marriot whose talk by the way from Women's Conference was fantastic. Speaking of Woman's Conference, it was so cool to see JoDell and Mia in the Choir!!! What a tender mercy to see some familiar faces!!!
Another familiar face I got to see is JUSTUS!!! YAY! Bro you are a killin villian in the best way possible, please join Motab so I can see your face more haha I LOVE YOU! I´m sure you alone sounded just as great as the rest of the BYUI choir! blessings on blessings on blessings!

This week I have been trying to read more in the BOM but in Spanish (LDM) It´s been super helpfull and I think it´s the coolest thing ever that I will get to share the gospel to others in their native language! God understands all! He knows every language and person, the church is so true, I can learn Spanish! well Times up folks! Loves and Hugs to all of you! You and I can do hard things!! God is so good!!! keep praying and Keep loving!!
Besos
